Volunteers Needed for H2A Farm Workers ESL Program
A Heartwarming Initiative to Teach English and Share Community Spirit
As the middle of February 2024 approaches, Harvest Nazarene Church is gearing up to resume its heartwarming program that teaches English to farm workers. This unique initiative not only offers essential language skills but also fosters a sense of community and support.
About the H2A Farm Workers ESL Program
The H2A Farm Workers ESL program, which has been a beacon of hope for our local farm workers, returns in the middle of February 2024. This program aims to empower our hardworking farm workers with the gift of the English language.
Volunteers: The Heart of the Program
To make this program a continued success, Harvest Nazarene Church is calling upon our caring and dedicated community members to volunteer their time and talents. We need volunteers who are willing to teach English, spread positivity, and help our farm workers on their journey to learning a new language.
Bake Cookies, Prepare Drinks, and Share Love
In addition to English classes, we also encourage individuals with a passion for baking and cooking to join our cause. Consider baking a batch of cookies or preparing some refreshing drinks to share with the farm workers during their classes. This simple act of kindness can brighten their day and create a warm and inviting atmosphere for learning.
Serve with Love
Moreover, we are looking for volunteers to serve the food and beverages, ensuring that our farm workers feel welcomed and cherished. Your presence and service can make a significant difference in their lives.
How to Get Involved
If you would like to be a part of this heartwarming initiative, please contact Pastor Rob or visit our church office during regular hours. Your participation in the H2A Farm Workers ESL program will not only help individuals learn a new language but also contribute to the spirit of community and togetherness.
Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of our farm workers and demonstrating the love and support that is at the core of our community. Together, we can make a real difference and spread kindness, one English lesson and cookie at a time.
