Compassionate Ministry: Serving with Love and Empathy

At Prosser Church of the Nazarene, our Compassionate Ministry is the embodiment of Christ's love in action. We are committed to serving and uplifting the lives of those in need, both in our local community and beyond.

What We Do:

  1. Soup Kitchen for the Hungry: Our soup kitchen is a welcoming place where individuals and families facing food supply challenge can find nourishing meals and a sense of community. We believe that no one should go to bed hungry.

  2. Clothing for the Homeless: We understand the importance of dignity and warmth. Through our clothing distribution program, we provide essential clothing items to the homeless, ensuring they have comfort and protection.

  3. Cooling and Warming Center: Extreme temperatures can be life-threatening. Our cooling and warming center offers shelter and respite during harsh weather conditions, providing a safe haven for those in need.

  4. Crisis Care Kits: In times of crisis, a helping hand can make all the difference. We assemble and distribute crisis care kits, providing immediate relief to individuals and families facing emergencies or disasters.

  5. Welcome Kits for New Moms: Welcoming a new life into the world is a special moment. We provide welcome kits to newly expectant moms, offering essential items and support as they embark on their journey of motherhood.

Our Compassionate Ministry is driven by a deep commitment to serve the broken and the lost, to provide comfort in times of need, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those facing life's challenges. We invite you to join us in these compassionate endeavors, as together we bring hope and transformation to our community and beyond.
